Crocheted Lace Vestee, Dickey with ribbon ties

Crochet Vestee:   This pattern contains directions to crochet the vestee pictured.  This design, taking us back to 1947, is a delicate and lacy design being referred to as a Vestee.    The vestee drapes over the shoulders and ties at the sides and in the front with ribbon.   An unusual touch to pair up under a jacket or blouse.  This is an easy, one-size pattern.  

Materials:  

Lily Sil-Tone Mercerized Crochet Cotton: -7-balls White.  

Crochet hook size 10. 

1 1/2-yds. 1/4" grosgrain ribbon in Shocking Pink, and 3/4 -yd. each Yellow and Turquoise.
