Crocheted Looped Stitch Border Rug Pattern

Loop Stitch Border Rug :  This pattern contains directions to crochet the rug pictured.   This is a great area rug, both for it standard size of 24-1/2 by 36 inches, as well as the textural quality of the loop stitch border all the way around.   Actually this is a double loop stitch border.   Make each bordered row different to bring more color into the room, of make them the same color.   Directions for materials substitution to make a smaller version are included as well. The design is vintage 1950s from American Thread.
