Crocheted Cloth : This pattern contains directions for a crocheted cloth to be made in the Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton. The motif design is pineapples with a pineapple motif, with plenty of lacy effects in between. The cloth will measure 58 x 58 inches when completed, our should you like a centerpiece runner cloth instead, crochet using No 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton for a cloth that measures 36 inches square.

This is a mail order pattern, purchased through newspapers and catalogs. This particular pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 754.  The newspaper description:  "Inspired by priceless tablecloths 100 years old. This heirloom beauty combines easy to memorize stitches in a dramatic design. Easy crochet for beginners; a cinch for experts".
