Crocheted Pineapple Medallion Pattern Design 730

Crocheted Medallion: This pineapple medallion can be made either of No. 50 Mercerized Crochet Cotton or of Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton. When joined the medallions form bedspreads, cloth's, chair sets, scarfs and pillows. The chain loop border is worked around joined medallions to complete each article. Depending upon materials used, the medallions will measure 6 or 9 inches diagonally.

This is a Mail Order Design pattern, purchased through newspapers and catalogs. This pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 730 in 1948.   The pattern, making a continued comeback was featured in the Laura Wheeler 1950 Designs Catalog as well as the 1962 Designs catalog.
