Crocheted Pineapple Rose Doily Chair Set Pattern Design 933

Crocheted Chair Set : This pattern contains directions for a crocheted chair set made of No 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton. A large rose with side sections in the pineapple design form the chair back; part of a side sections forms the arm rest. The chair back will measure 12 x 16 1/2 and the arm rests are 6 x 11 inches.

This is a Mail Order Design Pattern, purchased through newspapers and catalogs.   The pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 933 in 1948.   It was later featured in the Laura Wheeler 1950 Designs Catalog as well as the Laura Wheeler 1962 Designs Catalog.  Catalog trivia .... notice how the catalog picture for this pattern shows the chair in a larger view of that on the pattern picture.   This design was also marketed under The American Weekly brand.
