Crocheted Pixie Hat Pattern

Pixie Hat: This pattern gives directions for crocheting the hat pictured. This funky design takes us all the way back to 1962. The very tall pixie is crocheted and finished in a very long loop stitch using two colors of Mohair yarn. One size.

MATERIALS:   Bear Brand or Fleisher's Supra Mohair, 2 40-gr. balls each of white and black (or 3 balls of one color);   Plastic crochet hook size 9 or J;   1 ½ yards velvet ribbon.
