Crocheted Plaid Runner Place Mat Pattern Country Cousin No 7587

No 7587 : This pattern contains directions to crochet the set shown. With a country flair (thus the pattern name of Country Cousin), we have a pattern motif that is a two color woven plaid. Pick a light and dark color of your choice to correspond with your decor. The pattern set includes a long runner at 12 1/2 x 30 1/2 inches as well as placemats at 10 1/2 x 16 1/2 inches. This pattern, from The Spool Cotton Company, is vintage 1942.

Materials:   J&P Coats Knit-Cro-Sheen, 6 balls each of dark and light colors and 2 balls of White;   Steel crochet hook No 6 or 7.    This amount of material is sufficient for 4 placemats, each about 10 ½ x 16 ½ inches, and a runner, 12 ½ x 30 ½ inches.
