Crocheted Rag Doll Jiffy Ann 28 in tall

No X-127 Jiffy Ann : This pattern contains directions to crochet the doll pictured. The pattern, issued in the 1940s by the National Needlecraft Bureau gives us this adorable doll, which is named Jiffy Ann. She stands (with help) a grand 28 inches tall. Her individual parts are crocheted, stuffed and sewn together. Added to her are facial features and the hair braids. Basic instructions are given to create her simple dress.

Materials:

• Clarks ONT Cotton Rug Yarn, 4 balls of main color for Body (Yellow, Cream or Ecru); 1 ball of Brown for hair.
• Clarks ONT or J&P Coats Six Strand Embroidery Floss, 1 skein each of Red, Blue and Brown
• Clarks ONT Rug and Afghan Hook, Size G
• Steel crochet hook No 7
• 1/2 yard printed collon percale, 36 inches wide
• 1 yard narrow ribbon
• Cotton batting
• Gauge: 3 sts make 1 inch; 3 rnds make 1 inch
