Description

Crocheted Rug:  This pattern gives instructions to crochet the rug and toilet seat cover pictured shown.   This area rug is an easy pattern, vintage 1956, worked in heavy rug yarn.  The oblong rug features a solid center with a diagonal pattern stitch, surrounded by loop stitching and measures 24 x 34 inches.  Thee size on the accompanying seat cover is not stated, however, I would not think it would fit today' standard models.   his pattern is part of a book review on American Thread 134.
