Crocheted Slippers Pattern Mail Order 414

Crocheted Slippers: This pattern contains directions for crocheting different styled slippers. The pattern starts with a base style of slipper, which is misses sized small, medium and large. The design then expands to covers different finishing techniques for different looks. The changes include slippers with rosettes (which includes hairpin lace detail), slippers with sequins, slippers with beaded cuff and slippers with bow. See pictures for details.

This is a Mail Order Pattern, purchased through newspapers. This pattern was marketed as The Parade 414 in 1954.  "Christmas is coming again. Help solve your gift giving problems by crocheting several pairs of these slippers.  Trim them to suit the personality of each receiver - pretty, conservative slippers for the ladies and fancy ones for the teenagers".
