Crocheted Square Block Two Toned Pattern

Two Toned : This crochet pattern gives directions to make the cloth shown. The block, actually called Two Tone, is, as you might expect, crocheted in two shades (a solid and shaded tone) of Crochet Cotton. Each square measures 5 inches. Create the squares and join to form tablecloths as instructed, or in sizes of your choice.

Materials:  American Thread Company "Gem" or "Star" Mercerized Crochet Cotton Size 30, 5-500 yard balls White, Cream or Ecru. 12-400 yard balls Shaded or Solid Color;  Steel Crochet Hook #12 or 13.   (Each motif measures about 5 inches. 130 Motifs (10 x 13) are required for cloth measuring about 52 x 68 inches).
