Crocheted Sunbonnet Sue Afghan Blanket

Pompom Posy B-137 :   This pattern gives directions for crocheting the afghan pictured.   This is an easy pattern with the entire base of the throw worked in afghan stitch.  Then, the Sunbonnet Sut and Scroll work is embroidered (cross stitch) and pompoms added with use of the full page charts.  The finished afghan, a fun and whimsical piece, will measure 47 x 67 inches. 

Materials: COATS & CLARK'S RED HEART KNITTING WORSTED, 4 Ply, Art. E. 234 (4 oz. "Tangle-Proof" Pull-Out Skeins): 11 skeins of No. 738 Blush Pink and 2 skeins of No. 995 Arabian Ombre; and COATS & CLARK'S RED HEART KNITTING WORSTED, 4 Ply, Art. E. 230-B  (2 oz. "Tangle-Proof" Pull-Out Skeins): 1 skein each of No. 676 Emerald Green and No. 360 Wood Brown;  Afghan Hook No. 8.
