Description

Sunflower Afghan :   This pattern gives directions to crochet the afghan pictured.   This colorful design, vintage 1950's from American Thread Co., is worked in four colors of knitting worsted in sunflower motif blocks with green leaf accents.   Each block measures 7-1/2 inches and are joined to form an afghan that will measure 52 x 67 inches. 

Materials:   

  • AMERICAN THREAD COMPANY "DAWN" KNITTING WORSTED; 27 ounces Shaded Yellows, 7 ounces Orange, 65 ounces Pewter Grey, 7 ounces Kelly Green  
  • Plastic Crochet Hook Size J
