Description

Swedish Popcorn : This pattern contains directions to make the crocheted bedspread pictured. A flowery piece with popcorn stitches, giving a very textural effect. The individual flower blocks are formed together to join a spread measuring 82 x 102 inches, or size of your choice. This pattern design is vintage 1940s from Bucilla. A chart is included for joining the blocks. This design would make an interesting afghan design as well.

Materials:   Bucilla Wonder sheen (mercerized) Cotton, Article 3666, 21 skeins, or BuciIla Blue Label (delustered) Cotton, Article 3457, 18 skeins;   1 BuciIla "Featherlite" Steel Crochet Hook, Size 3, Article 4500.
