Crocheted TV Cover in Pineapple Stitch, Design 7110

Crocheted TV Cover:  This pattern contains directions for a crocheted square to be used as a TV cover. Square is worked in the pineapple stitch. Use either fine or heavy cotton.   Okay ... TV's are no longer this size, but what a grand centerpiece doily this will make!

This is a Mail Order Design pattern, purchased through newspapers and catalogs.   This pattern was marketed as Alice Brooks 7110 in 1955.  "Favorite pineapples form the pretty pattern of this cover - to beautify and protect your precious TV set.  Crochet TV square is 24 inches in No 30 mercerized cotton, smaller in No 50 and larger in crochet knitting cotton".
