Description

Crocheted Theater Suit : This vintage 1966 pattern contains instructions to crochet the above dress. Technically termed a theater suit, this two piece dress is made up of a light and mehy buttoned cardigan with high round neckline, three quarter sleeves and a splattering of flowers.. The skirt is straight with back zipper closure. Both the jacket and the skirt are lined. The pattern is sized 12, 14 and 16. Directions are given for size 12, with changes for 14 and 16 shown in parentheses.

Materials:

  • Diamond Fairknit Fashion Straw (2 oz spools): 11 (12-13) spools
  • Steel crochet hook size 0 or size required to work to gauge
  • 2 yards of matching organza material for interlining
  • 2 yards of matching taffeta for lining.
  • 7 inch skirt zipper

Gauge: Before Blocking - 7 mesh = 3 inches; 4 rows - 1 inch.
