Crocheted Wild Rose Needlepoint Area Rug Pattern is 24 x 40

Crocheted Needlepoint Rug : This pattern contains directions and charts to create the rug shown. Now, this vintage 1940s washed out black and white photo is certainly not doing the rug any justice. Just put your imagination in play and look again. First the base rug itself, an oblong area rug measuring 24 x 40 inches, is an easy crochet in 4-ply rug yarn. Then, using Emerald Green, Peach, Rose Pink, Wind and Hunter Green, the wild rose display are worked in cross stitch to the included chart (which has been enlarged to a quite usable size). Oh ... don't let me forget to add there's a pretty edge of fluff fringe all the way around.

Materials:

• Lily Rug Yarn, Art. 241 :-12-skeins Lt. Green, 3-skeins Emerald Green, and a partial skein each Peach, Rose Pink, Wine and Hunter Green (or other colors).
• Crochet hook size H-6.
