Filet Crochet Chair Set : This filet crocheted chair set,made of No. 50 Mercerized Crochet Cotton, may also be used as a buffet set or the large piece may be used as ends for scarfs. The pattern includes a filet chart for the chair back and the arm rest, also instructions describing how the charts are to be used. Worked in a running deer motif, the chair back will measure 13 x 16 and the arm rests are 6 x 12 inches.

This is a Mail Order pattern, purchased through newspaper advertisements and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Alice Brooks 6708 in 1940.

MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS:  No. 50 Mercerized Crochet Cotton in (150 yard) balls;   No. 12 steel crochet hook;   10 balls of cotton will make a chair set or two scarf ends.
