Design 7018, Crochet Doily in Petal Spiderweb Stitch

Crocheted Doilies: This pattern contains directions for two matching round doilies that are worked in a combination of petal and spider-web stitches in Mercerized Crochet Cotton. The doilies are round with a large flower type motif. The doilies can be made in large or small sizes. Depending upon your material choices. the small doilies are 11, 14 or 18 inches and the large doilies are 16, 18 or 25 inches in diameter.

This is a Mail Order Design Pattern purchased through newspaper and catalogs. This pattern was marketed as Alice Brooks 7018.   The newspaper description:  "Round doilies to match an oval. Make a beautiful set for table and buffet".  The matching design in Oval shapes was marketed as Alice Brooks 7365.
