Description

Regimental Stripes : This pattern contains directions to crochet the mats pictured. When this pattern came out, vintage 1960s from American Thread, the design was typically referred to as a luncheon set. Now, we just call them mats or placemats. This is a fun set, featuring stripes on the diagonal at varying widths. Each mat, stitched in Crochet Cotton, will measure 11 x 17-1/2 inches each.

Materials:

  • AMERICAN THREAD COMPANY The Famous "PURITAN" STAR SPANGLED CROCHET COTTON, Article 40., 2 balls Green Spangle, 3 balls Silver Spangle for each mat or colors of your choice
  • OR The Famous "PURITAN" CROCHET COTTON, Article 40, 2 balls Forest Green, 2 balls White or colors of your choice for each mat.
  • Steel crochet hook No. 7 or No. 8.
