Diamond Victorian Crochet Afghan Pattern

Victorian : This pattern contains directions to crochet the afghan pictured.  Pattern is made in single crochet in blocks that measure approx. 5 inches square.  A total of 140 diamond motif blocks are worked and put together to from the 52 x 72 inch afghan or throw.  This design is vintage 1950s from Spinnerin. 

Materials: 

• SPINNERIN Marvel Twist Total 16 4-oz. skeins, - Roseblush149 - 2 skeins - JuneRose 150 - 2 skeins - Dubonnet191 - 3 skeins - Sage164 – 15 skein
• 1 bone crochet hook No. 6 or F

GAUGE :5sts = 1 inch 5 ridges (10 rows) = 2 inches
