Dimple Mesh Baby Jacket Crochet Pattern

Baby Jacket : This pattern contains direction to crochet the jacket pictured. This little jacket, sized for infants, is a lacy mesh look to it, that in the 1940s style was referred to as dimply. The neckline features a tighter stitch with a rounded yoke and two button neck closure. The sleeves are three quarter and the bottom hemline is scalloped. This is a perfect little jacket to compliment babies early wardrobe, either boy or girl.

Materials:

• CHADWICK'S RED HEART BABY POMPADOUR, 3 balls (3/4 oz. balls).
• J.& P. COATS or CLARK'S O.N.T. SIX STRAND EMBROIDERY FLOSS, 1 skein (for embroidery).
• Crochet Hook, Size G.
• 3- small pearl buttons.

GAUGE: (Yoke) 5 sc make 1 inch; 5 rows make 1 inch.
