Description

Two Piece Dress : This pattern contains instructions for knitting, crochet edging, the dress shown. This vintage 1948 design has a grand sense of style. The set, includes the long tunic styled blouse and skirt. The though with three quarter length dolman sleeves and a high neck collar and front slit opening. The yoke and sleeves have a ribbed type pattern stitch. The left side has a button closure and it is thigh length. This tunic is paired with a straight skirt with left zipper closure. The pattern is written for misses size 14, with changes for 16 and 18 in parentheses.

MATERIALS:

  • Bernat Fleurette (1-oz. skein) 32 (34,36) skeins Beige.
  • Needles : 1 pr. No. 2.
  • 1 Steel Crochet Hook No. 2.
  • 1 yd. Grosgrain Ribbon 1" wide.
  • 1 Zipper 6" length. 1 pr.
  • Shoulder Pads.
  • 5 Buttons.
  • Snap fasteners.

GAUGE: 7 sts= 1". 10 rows =1".
