Drawstrings Bags Pattern in two sizes

No 27 Utility Bags: This pattern gives directions for crocheting the bags pictured. The pattern, vintage 1945 from Womans Day Magazine, gives the same styled bag in two different sizes .... a utility bag and a sewing bag. Both bags have a flat bottom and drawstring top. The are lined (optional) in a waterproof plastic liner. Actual size is not stated, however, the larger is referred to as a utility and the smaller a sewing bag.

MATERIALS:

• J. & P. COATS OR CLARK'S O.N.T. PEARL COTTON, Size 5, 10 balls of Ecru and 4 balls of Beauty Rose
• Steel Crochet Hook No. 4
• 2-1/2 yards of pink cord
• Waterproof material for lining Utility Kit Material for lining Sewing Kit.

GAUGE: 8 sc make 1 inch; 8 rows make 1 inch.
