Dressy Blouse Knitting Pattern, Short Sleeved

Cover Blouse: This pattern gives directions to knit the blouse pictured. This lovely design graced the cover of 1962 McCalls Needlecraft. The short sleeve blouse, knit in soft Fingering Yarn, has a lacy pattern stripe that runs vertically front and back. There is a front button band closure, with rounded neckline and hip length. The pattern is written for misses size 12, with changes for 14, 16 and 18 in parentheses.

Materials:   Fingering yarn, 3 ply, 7 (8-9-9) 1-oz. skeins;   14" knitting needles Nos. 2 and 3. (Or English sizes 11 and 10.);   Ten small pearl buttons.

Blocking Measurements;   Body Bust Size: 32" (34"-36"-38");   Blocked Bust Size: 35" ( 37"-39"-42").
