Eagle Afghan Knitting Pattern

Knitted Afghan : This pattern gives directions for knitting the afghan pictured. This design, worked in Knitting Worsted is worked in squares that are joined to form an afghan that will measure 51 x 65 inches. Every other block has a bold American Eagle motif which is worked to the included oversized chart. The afghan is finished all the way around with bi-color fringe.

Materials:

• AMERICAN THREAD COMPANY "DAWN" KNITTING WORSTED 46 ounces White, 8 ounces Scarlet or colors of your choice.
• 1 pair knitting needles No. 5 or any size needle which will result in stitch gauge below.

Gauge: 5 sts = 1 inch 13 rows = 2 inches
