Baracarole : This is a super easy pattern, suitable for beginners, to knit the afghan shown above. This piece, although plain at first look, has alternating rows of double seed stitch and a mock cable. The finished piece measures approximately 48 x 70 inches. The pattern is vintage Spinnerin.

MATERIALS

  • - Sport Yarn Weight SPINNERIN Allround or Wintuk Sport Wash Fit® (2-oz.) 10 skeins OR Mona (50-gr.) 13 balls 
  • - Needles: No.7 OR SIZE TO GIVE GAUGE 

GAUGE: 5 sts = 1 inch - 8 rows = 1 inch
