Description

Crocheted Beret:   This pattern gives directions to crochet the  beret pictured.  This is an easy beginner pattern worked in a combination of star and Fingering Yarn in single crochet, combined into a flower stitch.  The pattern is one size.  

This is a Mail Order pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Anne Cabot 5792 in 1948.  

Materials:  Straw – 3 ounces;  3 Ply Fingering Wool – ½ ounce.  (Size of hook not stated)
