Easy Crochet Bonnet Pattern Mail Order No R-2943

Crocheted Bonnet:   This pattern contains directions to crochet the lovely bonnet pictured.  This is a lightly brimmed bonnet with beaded edging and back ribbon ties.  Crochet it in Stawtex or knitting worsted.  The pattern is one size, however, change to a small or larger hook to change size, if needed.  

This is a Mail Order pattern purchased through newspaper advertisements.  The pattern was marketed as Peggy Roberts R-2943 in 1950,

Materials:  3 oz white Strawtex (or knitting worsted);  1 oz red Strawtex (or knitting worsted);   1 yd red grosgrain ribbon 1" wide;   Plastic crochet hook No. 6.
