Easy Crochet Square, Laura Wheeler 865

Crocheted Square:  This crocheted square can be made of No. 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton or string. The squares joined form bedspreads, cloths, scarfs and other household articles.  Depending upon materials used, the squares may be crocheted at 5-1/2 or 7 inches. 

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 865.  The newspaper description: "This little medallion's a gem! It fits perfectly into your scheme for pieces you want to do in odd moments. It's so easy to memorize this crochet, you'll have enough done in no time!".
