Description

Theater Blouse: This pattern contains directions to knit, crochet edges, the blouse pictured. This design goes back to 1950, and was officially called "theater blouse" for is dress-up appeal (I assume). The blouse, worked in stockinette is a simple design with elbow length cuffed (and buttoned) ends. There is a wide scooped neck that has a small ruffled edge, lending a feminine flair. The blouse is written for misses size 10, with changes for sizes 12, 14 and 16 in parentheses.

Materials:

  • Botany Dress Yarn, 1-oz. pull skeins White,10 (12,12,14) sks.
  • No. 2 knitting needles.
  • No. 5 steel crochet hook.
  • 2 buttons
