Easy Mans Knitted Turtleneck Sweater Pattern

Man of Action: This is a knitting pattern with directions to knit the sweater shown. Sized for men 36, 38, 40 and 42, the 1940 design is from The Spool Cotton Company. It's a relatively easy knit in stockinette stitch using Knitting Worsted. It features long sleeves, as well as ribbed bottom, cuffs and turtleneck.

Materials:

• CHADWICK'S RED HEART KNITTING WORSTED, 9 skeins (2 oz. skeins) for size 36; 10 skeins for sizes 38 and 40; 11 skeins for size 42. If 4-oz. skeins are used, you will need one-half the amount specified.
• MILWARD'S Phantom Knitting Pins, 1 pair No. 3 (3 mm. size) and 1 pair No. 6 (41/4 mm. size).
