Description

Knitted Hat : This pattern contains instructions for knitting the hat shown. Typically known as a pillbox hat (made quite in the 1950's), it has a flat tap and an attractive motif on the round sides. The hat is designed to wear the the flat area on the back of the head. This pattern is rated as easy enough for beginners to tackle, featuring the garter stitch.

Materials:

  • COATS & CLARK'S RUG YARN (70 yard skeins): 2 skeins of No. 47 Arbor Green.
  • Knitting Needles, 1 pair No.9.

GAUGE: Garter Stitch: 7 sts = 2 inches.
