Easy Striped Fleetwood Afghan Knitting Pattern

Fleetwood : This pattern contains directions to knit the afghan shown. This elegant afghan introduces a note of richness with subtle shaded colors, dramatic texture and simplicity of design. The pattern takes us all the way back to 1939 but certainly doesn't look vintage style. The afghan is made in strips, then stitched together with color coordinate tufts of fringe at the ends. The afghan, when completed, measures a large 62 x 75 inches.

Materials:

• CHADWICK'S RED HEART AFGHAN WOOL, 17 skeins (1 oz. skeins) each of Antique Rose, Renaissance Rose and Tapestry Rose; 11 skeins each of Gobelin Blue, Flemish Blue and Renaissance Blue; 9 skeins of Light Rose; and 6 skeins of Dusty Blue.

GAUGE: 5 sts make 1 inch; 5 rows make 1 inch.
