Eight Point Star Crochet Doily Pattern Design 5581

This is a Mail Order pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs. This pattern was marketed as Anne Cabot 5581 in 1955.  The newspaper description:  "Add this Summer Star to your doily collection! You'll find it fascinating to crochet - and when finished, ideal to use in any setting because of its tailored look".   This pattern was included in the Anne Cabot 1956 Needlework Album. 

Materials:  MERCERIZED CROCHET COTTON -- Size 30 -Approximately 350 yds. for doily;  Steel Crochet Hook No. 10 (Standard Size)
