Filet Crochet American Eagle Runner Pattern

No 7551 Hero's Salute : This pattern gives directions to create the runner pictured. The design, vintage 1942 from Spool Cotton, is patriotic themed (remember this was released during WWII). The runner, worked in Filet Crochet to included full page chart, features American Eagle ends, and a set of 6 shields in the center. The finished cloth will measure 18 x 44 inches.

• CLARK'S O.N.T. or J. & P. COATS BEST SIX CORD MERCERIZED CROCHET, size 50:CLARK'S O.N.T.-12 balls of White or Ecru, or 14 balls of any color, OR J. & P. COATS —7 balls of White or Ecru.
