Filet Crocheted Chair Set:  This filet crocheted chair set is made of No. 50 Mercerized Crochet Cotton. If desired the chair set can also be use as a buffet set or the chair back can be used as ends for scarfs. Included in the pattern is a chart for the chair back and the arm rest also directions describing how the charts are to be used.   The chair back measures 13 x 16 inches and the arm rests are 6-1/2 x 12 inches each. 

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  This pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 341 in 1942. The pattern was featured in the 1944 Alice Brooks Designs Catalog.   

MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS:  No. 50 Mercerized Crochet Cotton in (175 yard) balls and a No. 12 steel crochet hook.(8 balls of cotton will make a chair set or two scarf ends).
