Filet Crochet Butterfly Chair Doily Design 474

Filet Crochet Chair Set:  This pattern gives directions to crochet the chair set (buffet set, scarf ends, or doily) pictured.  The design is made of No. 50 Mercerized Crochet Cotton. The pattern includes a filet chart for the chair back and arm rest.   When completed, the chair back will measure 12-1/2 x 16 inches and the arm rests are 6 x 12-1/2 inches each. 

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspaper advertisements and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 747 in 1942. 

Materials:   9 (175 yard) balls of No. 50 Mercerized Crochet Cotton and a No. 12 steel crochet hook.
