Filet Crochet Butterfly Doilies Design 1818

Filet Crocheted Doilies:  This pattern contains directions and charts for making two oblong and two round doilies. The doilies can either be made of Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton or of No. 50 Mercerized Crochet Cotton.   The large oblong doilies 18 x 27 or 12 x 18";   The small oblong doilies are 12 x 18 or 8 x 12";   Large round doilies are 12 or 17";   Small round doilies are 8 or 12"  

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspaper advertisements.  The pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 1818 in 1938.
