Filet Crochet Chair Doily, Serenading Couple Design 2246

Filet Crochet Chair Set:  This crocheted chair set, made of No. 50 Mercerized Crochet Cotton, may also be used as a buffet set, the large piece may be used as ends for scarfs. Included in the pattern is a filet chart for the chair back and arm rest.   When completed the chair back will measure 12-1/2 x 16 inches and the arm rests are 6 x 12 inches each. 

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspaper advertisements.   The pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 2246 in 1939.
