Filet Crochet Chair Set:  This filet crocheted chair set is to be made of No. 50 Mercerized Crochet Cotton. If desired the set can be used as a buffet set or the chair back can be used as ends for scarfs. Included in the pattern is e filet chart for the chair back and arm rest.  When completed, the chair back measures 12-1/2 x 16 inches and the arm rests are 6 x 12-1/2 inches each.  

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspaper advertisements and catalogs.   The pattern was marketed as Alice Brooks 7496 in 1943. 

MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS: No. 50 Mercerized Crochet. Cotton and a No. 14 steel crochet hook; 7 (150 yard) balls are required for a entire set or 2 scarf ends.
