Filet Crochet Chair Set:  This filet crochet chair set is made of Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton. If desired the chair set can also be used as a buffet set or the chair back can be used as ends for scarfs. Included in the pattern is a chart for the chair back and the arm rest.  The chair back will measure 13 x 16 inches and the arm rests are 7-1/2 x 12 inches each. 

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspapers and catalog.  The pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 2884 in 1941.  The newspaper description:  "Crochet this chair set that symbolizes home and hospitality. It's in filet crochet made from easy to follow charts. Give a set as a shower gift - it will be most welcome!"

Materials:   Unbleached Crochet and Knitting Cotton in (500 yard) skeins and a No. 8 steel crochet hook. (2 skeins of cotton will make a chair set or two scarf ends)
