Filet Crochet Cloth Pattern, Hampshire No 7462

Hampshire : This pattern contains directions to create the cloth shown. Worked in filet crochet to a full page chart. The plumes features in rows turn this lace piece into a pageant of filet, and is edged with a three row border and lightly scalloped edging. The cloth, when completed will measure 70 x 93 inches. The design is vintage 1940s from The Spool Cotton Company.

Materials:

• CLARK'S O.N.T. or J. & P. COATS BEST SIX CORD MERCERIZED CROCHET SIZE 30
• SMALL BALL: CLARK'S O.N.T.-78 balls of White or Ecru, or 116 balls of any color. OR J. & P. COATS-58 balls of White or Ecru, or 78 balls of any color.
• BIG BALL: CLARK'S O.N.T.-29 balls of White or Ecru, OR J. & P. COATS-29 balls of White or Ecru, or 39 balls of any color.
• Milward's Steel Crochet Hook No. 10 or 11. Completed tablecloth measures 70 x 93 inches.

GAUGE: 5 sps make 1 inch; 5 rows make 1 inch.
