Filet Crochet Cornucopia Cloth, Laura Wheeler 2379

Filet Crochet Pattern :  This filet crocheted cloth can be made of double Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton, of a single strand of Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton or of No. 50 Mercerized Crochet Cotton. The choice of the cotton governs the size and texture of cloth.   Create this cloth in 3 sizes.   The large cloth is 72 x 72, the medium cloth 54 x 54 and the fine cloth is 36 x 36 inches.   Note:  Due to size the filet crochet chart is printed on two pages which you can tape together, or work off screen.

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 2379 in 1939.  The official newspaper description:  "This lovely filet crochet cloth serves as dinner or in-between cloth. You can make it in the 36, 54 or 72 inch size.
