Filet Crochet Daffodil Pattern, Chair Set, Alice Brooks 7542

Filet Crocheted Chair Set:   This pattern contains directions for making a filet crocheted chair set made of No. 50 Mercerized Crochet Cotton. The chair, set can also be used as a buffet set or the chair back can be used as ends for scarfs. Included in the pattern is a filet chart for the chair back and arm rest.  The chair back will measure 13 x 16 inches and the arm rests are 7 x 13 inches each. 

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  This pattern was marketed as Alice Brooks 7542 in 1943.   

MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS:  No. 50 Mercerized Crochet Cotton in (175 yard) balls and a No. 12 steel crochet hook;  7 (175 yard) balls will make a chair set or two scarf ends.
