Description

Diamond Tablecloth or Bedspread in Crochet.  This pattern gives directions to crochet the tablecloth, or bedspread, pictured.  This pattern is made in on piece—not in blocks that must be joined together. 

  • For a tablecloth use number 30 mercerized crochet threat and a size 11 or 12 crochet hook.   
  • For a cloth that measures about 60 by 80 inches, make 8 by 11 motifs. For this size you will need about thirty-five 250-yard balls. However the pattern may be repeated to make any desired length or width. 
  • Use bedspread cotton and a size 9 or 10 crochet hook for making the bedspread. Make motifs 11 by 15 for a spread that is about 96 by 112 inches.
