Filet Crochet Doilies: This pattern contains directions and charts for making two oblong and two round doilies. The doilies can either be made of Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton or of No. 50 Mercerized Crochet Cotton. The large oblong doilies are 18 x 27 or 12 x 18 inches. The small oblong doilies are 12 x 18 or 8 x 12 inches. The round doily is 6 1/2 inches. The large oval doilies are 16 x 20-1/2 or 10-1/2 x 13-1/2 inches. Full page charts are included for each doily set.

This is a Mail Order pattern, purchased through newspapers.  This pattern was marketed as Alice Brooks 6170 in 1938.

Materials:   Unbleached Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton in (500 yard) skeins and a No. 7 steel crochet hook   or No. 50 Mercerized Crochet Cotton in (125 yard) balls and a No. 14 steel crochet hook.
