This is a Mail Order pattern purchased through newspapers.  This pattern was marketed as American Weekly 3646 in 1943.  The newspaper description: "Lacy chair set in filet crochet. Bird and roses pattern". 

Materials:  Unbleached Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton in (500 yard) skeins  (2 skeins of cotton will make a chair set or 2 scarf ends);   No. 7 steel crochet hook.
