Filet Crochet Dutch Boy Girl Pattern No E1244

Filet Crochet Boy and Girl Dutch Chair Set:   This pattern gives directions to crochet the chair set pictured.  This is a delightful design, taking us back to 1947. A full page chart is included for each piece.

This is a Mail Order pattern purchased through newspaper advertisements and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as No E-1244 under the Ellen Bruce brand.   

MATERIALS: For a chair back 16-1/2 x 19", and 2 arm pieces 9 x 16-1/2" 9 balls (125 yds) mercerized crochet cotton #20, steel crochet hook #10 or 11.  For a chair back 14 x 16" and 2 arm pieces 7-1/2 x 14 inches, 8 balls (150 yds.)  mercerized crochet cotton #30, steel crochet hook #11 or 12.
