Description

Crochet Place Mat : This pattern contains directions to crochet the place mat shown. This is a lovely piece, worked to an included chart in filet crochet. Measuring 12 x 18 inches, the mat features a lovely daisy scroll type motif that wraps under a center of lacey mesh. The edges are scalloped with smaller daisies. The design is vintage 1950s from Lily Mills.

Materials:

  • DAISY MERCERIZED CROCHET COTTON, Art. 65: skein White, Size 30; or
  • LILY MERCERIZED CROCHET COTTON, Art. 36: 1 ball White, Size 30; or
  • LILY MERCROCHET MERCERIZED CROCHET COTTON, Art. 161: 2 balls White, Size 20.
  • No. 13 Steel Crochet Hook.

Gauge - 6 sps - 1 inch; 6 rows - 1 inch.
